Staying Stagnant

It is never a good thing to stay stagnant, to stay within your comfort zone, to let your mind and body stay still.  It is important to keep moving, to keep pushing, to always work on improving yourself.

I will admit, that I can be guilty of being stuck.  It can be scary to push out of your box into something that is unknown.  Sometimes one can feel that the devil you know is better than the devil you don’t know.  But in my opinion, that is just not the case.  The times in my life when I have pushed myself out of the of my comfort zone and jumped out of my box that I have had the biggest growth.

Staying stagnant is the worst thing you can do for yourself.  It only brings resentment and regret.  Staying stagnant turns into thoughts of “what if?” or “should I have done that?”.  Life is a precious gift, one that should not be wasted.  We all have the opportunity to do something great.  Those that work on themselves constantly, always looking to grow or do something better are the ones that truly understand that gift.
